The best day

The best day so far ...happened last wednesday.

An overdue meeting with two of my favourite girlfriends. One of whom brought me goodluck on the highstreet!!!!

I got the boots! you know the boots I ranted on about (three posts ago?) I thought I would have to wait till November for the possibility of them not actually coming back - but by chance we walked in to the store and I gave it another go - i was obsessed.

The sales assistant's exact words were : ''ooh i cant perform miracles but Ill double check we havent got any out back''

Lo and behold - she handed them to me a minute later - I tried them BOTH on this time and double checked the sole.

Now I have them by my bedside next to a lovely ever growing collection of investment shoes.
